The images capture the man releasing the girl and picking up his shopping bag before running off. The girl is then seen to run in the opposite direction towards her home.

GHAZIABAD: Two men on a motorcycle were caught red handed while they were snatching a woman's purse and mobile phone here on Tuesday, police said.

The two men, identified as Amir and Salman, snatched the purse and mobile phone of Shalini Tyagi, who was going to her office in a cyclerickshaw, in the Raj Nagar District Centre area, Superintendent of Police AK Vijeta said. Two men have been jailed over a planned arson attack in which a military hand grenade was left outside Kenny Dalglish's home.

TWO men have died in house fires over the weekend and a woman is in a critical condition.

A 54-year-old was killed in a blaze at his ground floor flat in Muirpark Terrace, Beith in Ayrshire.

Fire engines from Kilbirnie and Johnstone Community Fire Stations rushed to the scene just before 11pm on Saturday night.

It is not being treated as suspicious. The tragedy came a day after a man died in a flat fire in Paisley. The victim's body was found inside the King Street flat at 10pm on Friday.

Another fire at a house in Balloch, Dunbartonshire, in the early hours of yesterday morning left a 51-year-old woman critically injured.

She was taken to Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital suffering from burns and smoke inhalation and was later transferred to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Six members of her family, including a three-year-old child, were at the house on Lynn Walk when the blaze broke out. Police are appealing for witnesses.

Detective Inspector Ross McCallum of Clydebank CID, said: "It's incredible that no-one was more seriously injured or killed."

This week saw the start of the chlamydia fortnight campaign and health bosses are urging those aged 15 to 24 to take advantage of free testing kits at venues in the county.

Angela Arthur, chlamydia screening co-ordinator in Gloucestershire, said: "It's invisible, it's easily spread and it can be serious - causing infertility in both men and women. "The longer someone has it for, the more chance they have of becoming infertile. Women can pass it onto their babies, which can cause complications in pregnancies.

"It's so easy to check yourself, it's free and the treatment is free."

Between April and September last year, 7.2 per cent of 15 to 24- year-olds tested in the county were found to have the infection - slightly above the national rate of 6.6 per cent.

A campaign is being rolled out across the county in the next two weeks, with advertising campaigns on buses and information in colleges and student union bars.

Young adults can pick up free testing kits at locations including universities, pharmacists, some hair dressers and fitness clubs.

Mrs Arthur, part of the chlamydia screening team, based at Hope House in Gloucester, is encouraging people to get regularly checked out.

She said: "Sexual health is just as important as having any other check up routine.

"This is something that should be done with every partner change or every year if sexually active."

Men are particularly being urged to make the effort to get tested.

Paul Hopkins, sexual health specialist for NHS Gloucestershire, said: "There is no single reason why young men are less likely to come forward to be tested for chlamydia. The infection usually has no symptoms, so there's no visible harm being done.

"Research points to men not contacting health professionals even when ailments are visible, as there's a hope that health problems will go away. Chlamydia is Fake Jacob & Co. Watches an infection that can affect their own and any partner's health and can harm their chances of becoming a father. It can also cause reactive arthritis, which can damage joints and affect ability to play sport."

Cheltenham Town Football Club is running a project called "Know yer Balls" in partnership with NHS Gloucestershire. Coaches from the club are visiting schools with information on sexual and mental health issues. The NHS is also working with other county football clubs to raise awareness about the role of the infection in causing reactive arthritis. For further information, go to glos.nhs.uk.
